What we collect
To fulfil an order: your name, email, phone number and delivery address. To take payment: nothing — card details go directly to our payment processor and never touch our servers.
For a commission: whatever you choose to tell us in your brief, plus any reference photographs you send. For preservation work, photographs of the material you send us, kept as a record of what arrived.
If you subscribe to The Pour: your email address and nothing else.
Basic, aggregated analytics about how pages are used. No cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, no profiles built about you.
Why we hold it
Order and delivery data is kept to fulfil the order, handle returns, and meet Indian tax record-keeping obligations.
Commission briefs and pour logs are kept because a piece can need repair or matching years later, and the log is how we do that accurately.
Preservation photographs exist so both of us have a record of exactly what arrived at the studio. They are never published without your written permission.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll action it within 30 days.
Deleting order records we're legally required to retain for tax purposes isn't something we can do — but we can remove everything else, including your marketing subscription and any commission material.
Unsubscribing from The Pour is one click in any email, and takes effect immediately.
